Patron Status Lookup

One thing to lookup if we have followed other leads to a dead end or if we have a clue that the person may not be currently registered for classes or an alumnus and cannot 'get in' to view resources, then we can look up their Patron Status.

For those that have Sierra access. Open up Sierra and select the FUNCTION in the top right menu of 'Check Out (Circulation Desk)'

Then in the search bar in the top left, hit the Search Button.  From there you will be able to search the patron by name (last name, first name) or by SVSU ID.  

Here we will be able to verify if the patron is an active student or someone or if they don't have access because they shouldn't.
