We discovered this at around 3PM on Monday, May 16. People could no longer login to access Databases remotely as well as couldn't get on to login to the My Library Account to check book status, checked out items, fine, etc.
We discovered this was actually in relation to a change that we made to the Mail DNS to get notices to start working again. This change caused the issues above. Once we put 2 and 2 together around 4PM on Tuesday afternoon, Innovative switched out DNS servers back to where they were before we had them change it for the Notices issue.
We changed the DNS in relation to the Migration to our Outlook Mail servers, which was done on May 2nd. Ever since, notices hadn't been going out.
We are now working with ITS to put in a long term fix for the mail server records, which will impact the Notices and mail being send from our III server. Will post an update when that happens.
