- Helped Doug setup Sharon's laptop with Docking Station and made sure she was up to date with apps. Doug took her Desktop away.
- Made sure we were good to go with Ebsco's move to really clamp down on users not having anything below TLS Version 1.2
- Continued work and testing, with Springer issues, working with staff here, testing at home and collaborating with OCLC and Springer.
- Replaced one Reference Desk PC with slightly updated model from ITS with a fresh software install, the 2nd Ref Desk machine is still out being re-imaged by Doug/ITS
- Talked with IT about libas Account, stressing the continued need for it and before they backed off for now, stated, I would send them all of the correspondence over the past 15 years, of why we need this!
- Working with Newsbank and OCLC on why the newer setup of Newsbank does not work Off-Campus and hits us with a prompt for credentials and doesn't have our library as an option for 'No Username/Password' Access.
- The Biggest and most time spent this week was on the continued debacle that is purchasing and renewals with our vendors. I talked with Dennis Hughes about the process of bypassing the HECVAT for vendors that don't store info and talked with Purchasing on how we can revamp our process even further. Updated my spreadsheet with how Purchasing wanted to see things laid out and what works for them, from a process standpoint. Have been following up with Vendors we still need info from, for Quarter 1 and starting the process of getting all the information we need from our Q2 Renewals.
